SVEL GROUP
Professional Project (za bor architects)
Yekaterinburg, Russia / 2019
Description:
A renovation of a Soviet period bureau building in Yekaterinburg Chkalovsky district into a modern office for 600 employees, ordered by SVEL Group JSC, a national leader in the production of electronic equipment. I was asked to propose the office building's adjacent territory, which required the conversion of an industrial area into a comfortable and environmentally friendly pedestrian space with necessary street furniture (benches, streetlights, etc.) and good transport accessibility, that would provide parking for an appropriate number of vehicles and circulation organically integrated into the existing traffic pattern. The design proposal features a paving pattern inspired by the shape of a transistor circuit, street furniture and a bus stop in the client’s brand colours.
